Client health and safety is always Dr. Connie Hiers number one priority, so first we must all be aware of who qualifies as an ideal candidate. The good news is that most individuals make good candidates. Ideal candidates:
- Do not smoke
- Are in good physical health
- Are committed to maintaining good skin health
The most important thing for our dermal filler candidates is to have a positive outlook and realistic goals in mind for the improvement of your appearance.
What to Expect
Though many patients see results immediately after treatment, it can take anywhere from 7-10 days to see your final and full results. You may experience some bruising, swelling, or tenderness around the injection site but these will likely resolve in just a few days.
It is recommended to wait at least a week to attend a big event after getting filler and avoid sleeping and rubbing around the injection area for 3-4 hours after treatment. We advise you to remain sitting upright for 3-4 hours after filler and sleeping with your head elevated that night to help with swelling.
